Why to Watch - The Place Beyond The Pines

One of the better “take place in two different times” films I have ever seen. Director Derek Cianfrance creates a really depressing emotional foundation in his films, and this one just hits. More than just a sad film though, “The Place Beyond The Pines” has a little bit of action-thriller element to it, which makes this lesser-known must watch.
