This is sort of the reason we came up with “journalists being baddasses” category. The quintessential investigative journalism film, it has everything. Exposing of terrible crimes via a slow burn of obstacles, yup. Coffee drinking, fighting deadlines, navigating through red tape to get the job done, yup. Mark Ruffalo, yup. I typically don’t like to pick favorites but this is Rex’s top pick for this genre.
